Gravid Yoga
Yoga for pregnant women is suitable for every woman who has just found out that she is pregnan, from the first days after conception until the birth itself. Exercise has its beneficial effect even in the six week postpartum period.
Yoga brings strength and relaxation at the same time to mother. It helps keep women fit even during this period, reduces the development of cellulite, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, problems with the urinary tract and eliminates back pain. It also brings self-confidence, inner strength and has positive effect on depression.
The individual positions are not demanding and are adapted to the physiological conditions of pregnancy. Nevertheless, it is necessary for a woman to know her current state of health perfectly and not to expose herself and her expected child to risks, although yoga does not present them for pregnant women. The aim of the exercise is both to relax and stretch the whole body, but at the same time to brighten the mind. When exercising, it is not so important to focus on exercise itself, but more on your breath and relaxation.
Each lesson will be individual and will depend on the current mental and physical state of the woman. Pregnancy brings constant changes, so it is advisable to listen to your body at all times and follow how you feel. Only then we will be satisfied with ourselves.
